With the increasing efforts of China's air management and the large coverage of flue gas treatment in the power industry, the non-electric industry has gradually become a key area of flue gas treatment. In 2018, Shandong Province released DB37/2375-2013-2018 "Shandong Province Local Industrial Kiln Air Pollutant Emission Standards" requires the emission concentration of NOx to meet the "Industrial Kiln Air Pollution Emission Standards": SO₂≤200mg/m³; NOx≤400mg/m³; particulate matter≤30mg/m³, and Local environmental protection department/EPA "2018 non-electric industry desulfurization denitrification dust removal ultra-low emission requirements" also has clear requirements for this.

Lime kiln flue gas treatment is bound to become a trend. The denitrification flue gas temperature of lime kiln furnace is generally 180℃~240℃, and the industrial tail gas dust of lime kiln contains a large amount of calcium and alkaline earth metals (CaO, K2O, Na2O), small dust particle size, high viscosity, and low tail gas denitrification temperature are special, which leads to the difficulty of NOx treatment.

The commonly used denitrification process of lime kiln mainly includes ozone oxidation, activated coke adsorption method and SCR denitrification process, which is widely used by lime kiln industry due to the maturity of SCR denitrification process and high efficiency of denitrification.
