The previous article we have introduced the selection of raw materials for dust filter bags, today we will explain the production process from the filter media for you in detail.

According to the processing method filter bags are mainly divided into woven filter media dust filter bags, non-woven filter media dust filter bags.
1, woven filter media dust filter bag: weaving machine will be arranged vertically with each other warp and weft yarns, according to certain organizational laws woven into the filter media, the letter W said;
2, non-woven filter media dust filter bag: not through the general spinning and weaving process, directly into a network of fibers or yarns into layers, interlacing, bonding, needle punching, meltblown or spinning made of sheet filter media, the letters NW and the specific processing method of the code composed of composite letters;

The production of filter bags can be roughly divided into three stages: filter media forming stage, post-treatment stage, and filter bag sewing stage.

 


Stage 1: filter media forming stage
One or more kinds of fiber raw materials are made into filter media semi-finished products through mixing, carding, spreading and needling. Stage 2: Post-treatment stage
According to the different performance and use conditions of the filter media, the filter media is processed and treated to improve the performance of the filter media and enhance the dust removal efficiency and service life. Generally, there are heat-setting treatment, burnishing and calendering treatment, oil-proof and water-proof treatment, impregnation treatment, coating treatment, fireproof flower, anti-static treatment, etc.
(1) Heat setting treatment: generally the spun filter media will be pre-treated at high temperature, textile filter media in a high temperature environment, stretching the filter media to extend the service life of the filter media.
2)Burning and calendering treatment: Burning is the use of flame to remove the lint from the surface of the filter media Calendering is to flatten and make the surface of the filter media more dense and smooth under the effect of certain temperature and pressure.
(3) Oil and water-proof treatment: the filter media is treated with water and oil-proof agents to improve the performance of the filter media in water and oil-containing media.
(4) impregnation treatment: the filter media is treated in PTFE solution for infiltration and then dried to improve the temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance of the filter media.
(5) Coating treatment: the surface of the filter media is hot-fused or bonded with a layer of expanded PTFE film, which has high porosity and small pore size and can further enhance the efficiency of dust removal.
6)Fireproof flower, anti-static treatment: metal fiber is put into the filter media textile to improve the electrical conductivity of the filter media, so that the filter media can release the electric charge in time when static electricity is generated and avoid the generation of electric sparks.

 

The third stage: filter bag sewing stage
The sewing of the needle-punched felt-like thick fabric is carried out using an industrial three-needle, two-thread sewing machine. Different parts, sewing requirements are different. Longitudinal stitching of the bag body must be firm and straight, and not less than three. The bottom and the mouth of the bag can be sewn with single needle or double needle according to different requirements. Yuanchen Technology adopts the sewing method of three needles and six threads to ensure the solidity of the filter bag and avoid the phenomenon of thread breakage and falling off.
