Dust filter bag is the core key of bag filter, which is made of fiber as raw material. One or more kinds of fiber raw materials are made into needle felt semi-finished products through blending, carding, netting and needling, and then through the post-treatment process to improve their dust removal efficiency and service life. The post-treatment process is generally chemical or physical, with or without the addition of additives, to make the filter media have certain special features to meet the requirements of the needle felt in the actual working conditions. It mainly includes burnishing and calendering, heat setting, water and oil repellency, coating, anti-corrosion and permeation film, lamination, etc.

I. Burning and calendering
Burning is the use of flame to burn off the cilia on the surface of the needle felt to improve the surface structure and facilitate ash cleaning. Excessive burning will lead to fusion plaque, which is not conducive to dust filtering.
Calendering is under the effect of certain temperature and pressure, the surface of the needle felt will be flat, uniform thickness, more dense and smooth, easy to clean ash, but also can reduce the size of the pore, so that the dust is not easy to enter the deep layer of the needle felt, thus improving the service life of the needle felt.

II. Heat setting
Heat setting is generally carried out in the setting machine; while stentering heat setting, the conveying system with needle tongs or cloth tongs can be used. Filter media through heat setting treatment, can eliminate the residual stress of needle felt in the process, to obtain a stable size and flat surface.

III. Water and oil repellency
After the needle felt is treated with water and oil repellent, it can effectively avoid the phenomenon of paste bag on the surface of the filter bag. Generally add about 3~8% of water repellency agent treatment, in order to increase the treatment effect, can choose penetrating agent for compounding use.
